West of I-75

Haile Plantation, Gainesville’s largest real estate development, is by far the most talked about neighborhood in all of Gainesville.  Haile Plantation truly sparkles as a full-fledged community with more than 2,700 custom homes, condos and apartments, while also offering boutique shops, an upscale Publix shopping plaza, a selection of fine restaurants, and arguably Gainesville’s best Golf and Country Club.  Many of Gainesville’s most famous residents and former residents don’t hurt the reputation, either, including Billy Donovan, Steve Spurrier and Urban Meyer, just to name a few.  Haile Plantation is located in Southwest Gainesville, West of I-75 off of Archer Road and less than five miles from the University of Florida.  Click here for a Gainesville MLS Property Search to view homes in your price range, or contact us for more information about homes for sale and condos for sale within Haile Plantaion, such as: Katelyn Lane, Victoria Circle, Bedford Square, Carlton Court, Storeys Round, Prestonwood, Retreat Place, Branton Court, Fairhaven, Ashleigh Circle, Sable Pointe, Mills Glen, Cameron Park, Millington, Lenox Gardens, Hampstead Park, Matthew’s Grant, Madison Square, Colson’s Corner, Stratford Ridge, Benjamin’s Grove, Matheson Woods, Whitaker Oaks, Oakmont, Charleston Park, The Thomas Evans Haile Preserve, Westfield Commons, Amelia Gardens, Kestrel Point, India Statin, Bennet’s Garden, Spalding Place, The Haile Village Center, Camden, Founder’s Hill, Planters Grove, Chestnut Hill.

Longleaf Village, also called the Longleaf neighborhood or simply, Longleaf, is a neighborhood in close proximity to Haile Plantation, also Southwest on Archer Road from I-75.  This well-crafted neighborhod is well known for the shining stars it has presented in the Gainesville Parade of Homes over the years.  Cambridge Forest, Eloise Gardens, Fletcher Park and Cobblefield are also highly sought after neighborhoods in this area offering homes for sale in many different sizes and price ranges.

The Town of Tioga and the Tioga Town Center is also a mixed-use developement with fine shops, welcoming restaurants and a charming residential neighborhood.  The Tioga Town Center and neighboring Town of Tioga neighborhoods are located in the Jonesville area, West of I-75 on Newberry Road, about halfway to downtown Newberry from the interstate.  Click here to view our listings.

Directly across the street from the Town of Tioga and the Tioga Town Center, you’ll find the Arbor Greens neighborhood, full of beautiul custom homes by four of Gainesville’s most popular builders.  Continuing on into Newberry, you’ll find Belmont, a unique and family-friendly newer development, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of university traffic but convenient enough to shops and restaurants in Northwest Gainesville.

North and Central Gainesville

The Duckpond neighborhood, credited with being “Gainesville’s First Neighborhood” is located just North of Central Gainesville and offers a unique blend of historic homes and friendly people.

Millhopper Road is a popular thouroughfare in North Gainesville, and although no one neighborhood in particular is well-known for serving as a fixture in this area, the eclectic shops and restaurants on the well-known Millhopper Road give this area a community feel and instant name and location recognition.  Weschester, Burberry Pond, Millhopper Road Estates, and other popular and family-friendly neighborhoods are nearby.
